About The Biloxi-D'Iberville Press

The Biloxi-D'Iberville Press primarily serves the cities and communities of Biloxi and D'Iberville that wrap around the Bay of Biloxi on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Biloxi is best known for its military and tourism orientation. Some 20,000 military and civillian personnel are part of the community because of Keesler Air Force Base. Casino Gaming on the Coast is concentrated in Biloxi with eleven casinos and world class hotels and golf courses. A new Frank Gehry museum is under construction and will house a collection of art created by George E. Ohr. The work of the Mad Potter, as the Biloxi native came to be known, should occupy a portion of its new home soon.

The city of D'Iberville lies north of the Biloxi Bay and turned 20 years old on February 10, 2008. A recent burst of commerical development along the I-10 corridor brings thousands to the city each day.

On the eastern side of the Bay, Ocean Springs was recently selected as one of the best small cities in the country. Its quaint downtown features over 50 specialty stores and unique restuarants. Ocean Springs is often considered the center of the Coast's arts community, and located within it's boundries is the Walter Anderson Museum of Art.

Together, the Biloxi-D'Iberville-Ocean Springs trade area is home to well over 100,000 persons.
